Olio Extra vergine d’oliva

The vineyard and the olive tree have always been a recurrent motif of the Piandaccoli Estate landscape. Our olive groves are planted with Moraiolo, Frantoio and Leccino, three cultivars that symbolise Tuscan olive-growing and its oil, plants that thrive on stony soil, tended with loving care. Between October and November, we hand-pick sound olives, respecting varietal ripening behaviour, and we bring them to the oil-mill every day for pressing. The extra virgin olive oil of the Piandaccoli Estate, our oil, is of a golden yellow colour with green hues. It has an ample and elegant perfume, reminiscent of the fruit; its taste is characterised by balanced, bitter and spicy notes. It is a worthy centrepiece, ready for anything.
